Nella seconda edizione dell’evento “Celebrating Venezia”, Camp Italia vuole celebrare la 78 MOSTRA DEL CINEMA DI VENEZIA attraverso l’esposizione dei loghi storici delle edizioni della MOSTRA.
Di seguito il calendario di esposizione dei loghi storici sul Lungomare di Burano, in Camp Italia, Second Life:
- – Settimana dal 5 all’11 Settembre: loghi dal 1932 al 1947
- – Settimana dal 12 al 19 Settembre: loghi dal 1948 al 1962
- – Settimana dal 20 al 30 Settembre: loghi dal 1963 al 1975

La mostra dei loghi storici del Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Venezia è fruibile dal 5 al 30 Settembre presso il Lungomare di Burano, in Camp Italia-Second Life, dove è stata montata l’ installazione “Celebrating Venezia” che dà il nome all’Evento e dove si svolgono le serate musicali.
La Biennale di Venezia nasce nel 1895 ed è considerata tra le istituzioni culturali più note e prestigiose al mondo. All’avanguardia nella ricerca e nella diffusione delle nuove tendenze artistiche contemporanee, La Biennale di Venezia organizza in tutti i suoi Settori – Arte (1895), Architettura (1980), Cinema (1932), Danza (1999), Teatro (1934), Musica (1930) – attività espositive, performative, di ricerca e formazione.
La storia della Biennale di Venezia è documentata presso l’Archivio Storico nelle sedi a Marghera e al Padiglione Centrale ai Giardini (Biblioteca). Dal 1998 l’Esposizione d’Arte e la Mostra di Architettura hanno assunto una struttura organizzata secondo nuove linee guida. Negli anni recenti La Biennale ha promosso nuove attività Educational, il College, conferenze e convegni nella sua sede di Ca’ Giustinian.
La Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica dall’anno della sua nascita (1932) si svolge al Lido di Venezia e negli anni ha mantenuto e accresciuto la sua posizione di grande prestigio internazionale, in forza della qualità delle selezioni, e anche della recente riqualificazione delle sue sale storiche, delle dotazioni tecnologiche. Inoltre, grazie alla creazione della nuova Sala Giardino, ha aumentato il numero dei posti destinato al pubblico di appassionati.
La Mostra internazionale d’arte cinematografica è il festival cinematografico che si svolge annualmente a Venezia, Italia (solitamente tra la fine del mese di agosto e l’inizio di settembre), nello storico Palazzo del Cinema sul lungomare Marconi (ed in altri edifici vicini o non lontani), al Lido di Venezia. Dopo l’Oscar, è la manifestazione cinematografica più antica al mondo: la prima edizione si tenne tra il 6 e il 21 agosto 1932 (mentre l’Academy Award, comunemente conosciuto come Premio Oscar, si svolge, in serata unica, dal 1929).
La mostra si inquadra nella più vasta attività della Biennale di Venezia, istituzione culturale fondata nel 1895, che dallo stesso anno organizzava la famosa Esposizione internazionale d’arte contemporanea e dal 1930 il Festival internazionale di musica contemporanea. La 76ª edizione si è tenuta dal 28 agosto al 7 settembre 2019.
Il premio principale che viene assegnato (assieme a diversi altri) è il Leone d’oro, che deve il suo nome al simbolo della città (il Leone di San Marco). Tale riconoscimento è considerato uno dei più importanti dal punto di vista della critica cinematografica, al pari di quelli assegnati nelle altre due principali rassegne cinematografiche europee, la Palma d’oro del Festival di Cannes e l’Orso d’oro del Festival internazionale del cinema di Berlino.
L’albo dei vincitori del Leone d’oro al miglior film della Mostra internazionale d’arte cinematografica di Venezia vanta nomi illustri della storia del cinema.
Per quel che riguarda i “buchi” dell’elenco, dal 1969 al 1972 la Mostra si svolse senza assegnazione di premi, mentre nel 1973 non venne organizzata. Nel 1974, 1975 e 1976 venne organizzata solo una sezione “cinema” nell’ambito della Biennale. Nel 1977 e 1978 venne organizzata solo una retrospettiva cinematografica sempre nell’ambito della Biennale. Nel 1979 la Mostra tornò ad essere organizzata ma senza assegnare premi. Prima del 1942, la “Coppa Mussolini” era “doppia” (miglior film italiano e miglior film straniero). I festival dal 1940 al 1942 non si svolsero nella città lagunare e per questo motivo non sempre vengono riconosciuti; i film vincitori di quelle tre edizioni furono comunque premiati con la “Coppa Mussolini”.

In the second edition of the “Celebrating Venezia”, Camp Italia wants to celebrate the 78 VENICE CINEMA FESTIVAL through the exhibition of the Historical Logos of the Festival edition.

- – Week from 12 to 19 September: logos from 1948 to 1962
- – Week from 20 to 30 September: logos from 1963 to 1975

The exhibition of the historical logos of the Venice International Film Festival is open from 5 to 30 September at the Lungomare di Burano, in Camp Italia-Second Life, where the “Celebrating Venezia” installation which gives its name to the event was mounted. and where the musical evenings take place.
The Venice Biennale was founded in 1895 and is considered one of the most famous and prestigious cultural institutions in the world. At the forefront of research and dissemination of new contemporary artistic trends, La Biennale di Venezia organizes in all its sectors – Art (1895), Architecture (1980), Cinema (1932), Dance (1999), Theater (1934), Music (1930) – exhibition, performance, research and training activities.
The history of the Venice Biennale is documented in the Historical Archives in the offices in Marghera and in the Central Pavilion in the Giardini (Library). Since 1998, the Art Exhibition and the Architecture Exhibition have taken on a structure organized according to new guidelines. In recent years, La Biennale has promoted new Educational activities, the College, conferences and conventions at its headquarters in Ca ‘Giustinian.
Since its birth (1932) the Venice International Film Festival has been held on the Lido of Venice and over the years it has maintained and increased its position of great international prestige, thanks to the quality of the selections, and also to the recent redevelopment of the its historic rooms, technological equipment. Furthermore, thanks to the creation of the new Garden Room, the number of seats destined for the public of enthusiasts has increased.
The International Film Festival is the film festival that takes place annually in Venice, Italy (usually between the end of August and the beginning of September), in the historic Palazzo del Cinema on the Marconi seafront (and in other nearby buildings or not far away), at the Lido of Venice. After the Oscar, it is the oldest film event in the world: the first edition was held between 6 and 21 August 1932 (while the Academy Award, commonly known as the Oscar Award, has been held in a single evening since 1929) .
The exhibition is part of the wider activity of the Venice Biennale, a cultural institution founded in 1895, which since the same year has organized the famous International Exhibition of Contemporary Art and since 1930 the International Festival of Contemporary Music. The 76th edition was held from 28 August to 7 September 2019.
The main prize that is awarded (along with several others) is the Golden Lion, which owes its name to the symbol of the city (the Lion of San Marco). This recognition is considered one of the most important from the point of view of film criticism, like those awarded in the other two main European film festivals, the Palme d’Or of the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Bear of the International Film Festival. of Berlin.
The register of winners of the Golden Lion for best film at the Venice International Film Festival boasts illustrious names in the history of cinema.
As for the “holes” in the list, from 1969 to 1972 the exhibition took place without awarding prizes, while in 1973 it was not organized. In 1974, 1975 and 1976 only a “cinema” section was organized within the Biennale. In 1977 and 1978, only one film retrospective was organized, again as part of the Biennale. In 1979 the exhibition returned to being organized but without awarding prizes. Before 1942, the “Coppa Mussolini” was “double” (best Italian film and best foreign film). The festivals from 1940 to 1942 did not take place in the lagoon city and for this reason they are not always recognized; the winning films of those three editions were nevertheless awarded the “Coppa Mussolini”.
